At the heart of our cultural volunteer and tourism programs lies a commitment to empowering women and fostering gender equality. We believe that empowering women not only enriches communities but also preserves and promotes cultural heritage through inclusive participation. Our activities include:
1. Skill Development Workshops
We organize training sessions in traditional crafts, weaving, embroidery, and other indigenous skills, enabling women to generate sustainable income and preserve cultural techniques.
2. Leadership and Capacity Building
Through leadership training programs, women are encouraged to take on active roles in community decision-making, tourism management, and cultural preservation projects.
3. Entrepreneurship Support
Supporting women entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, micro-financing, and marketing assistance to help them start and grow their own cultural businesses.
4. Women-Centered Cultural Events
Hosting festivals, storytelling sessions, and exhibitions led by women, showcasing their talents, stories, and cultural contributions to foster pride and visibility.
5. Safe and Inclusive Tourism Practices
Promoting a safe and respectful environment for women travellers and volunteers, ensuring inclusive participation in all cultural activities
